Wordpress 2.3.3 security release
Just a quick post to let you know that a new version of Wordpress has been released today. The update is categorized as an “urgent security release”. According to official Wordpress blog;
A flaw was found in our XML-RPC implementation such that a specially crafted request would allow any valid user to edit posts of any other user on that blog. If you are interested to download only security fix, you can download fixed version of xmlrpc.php and copy it over existing fixed version of xmlrpc.php.
