Well of late blogging has caught the imagination of one and all. Ever since weblogs or blog what they are called as of today were launched they have been used to communicate and exchange ideas, views, opinions, information etc on a wide range. Tens and thousands of blogs are created everyday and most of them get lost in the vast sea around. That means not everyone can be a successful blogger and more if you cannot follow the basic guidelines and don’t repeat the mistakes others do.

There is a longstanding discussion around the blogsphere as how often a blog should be updated? Every bloggers has different responses to that question.

If you don’t have anything to say, don’t post anything.
The most important variable that would bring you success is the quality of your content, that contains original ideas, clear instructions, breaking news, etc…

You should publish something only when you have something to say. Your loyal readers will subscribe to your RSS feed.

Its very common to see newbie bloggers who have just entered into blogging world and set unrealistic expectations from the very first day. Do not use free blogging services. Blogs hosted under a submain (e.g. Blogger, Wordpress, etc…) are under the mercy of site administrators. There are number of things you are required to comply while keeping your blog under of their service. Failure to comply causes suspensions. To get your own domain gives you more freedom. And you are no longer responsible to any site admisitrator but to your readers and to the hosting company
