You have probably come across a blog whereby related articles and social site submission links are displayed under each post. However, when it comes to a news/magazine style blog, it would be a good idea to display the latest headlines of a chosen category in Post/Page.

Unfortunately this kind of thing can only be achieved by using widgets or editing the template pages. The List category post plugin gives the opportunity to list the latest headlines of a selected category using [catlist=ID], where ID stands for the Category Id.
